With an outer pocket with transparent peephole, and to consult the times noted, without having to open the notebook completely. It also has a peephole area on the inside that allows you to turn it over and leave fixed sheets to consult on both sides.
The inner notebook has blank sheets to make any annotations you wish (run time, contingency plans, crokis, messages to the partner, topographic data...etc).
The TDS slate book also has two external rubber bands that allow to secure it both longitudinally and vertically, preventing it from opening when not desired, allowing to remove them very easily even with thick gloves.
A Bungee secured to the holster, allows to secure it with a carabiner to the pocket or to a harness ring during decompression.
