KUWAE is a one-piece wetsuit designed specifically for swimming and freediving. It benefits from Cressi's extensive experience in pattern making, assembly and materials, coming from freediving and diving suits.

Design and Pattern

Kuwae has been entirely designed using sophisticated 3D software that has allowed studying the fit of different materials and different sizes on virtual mannequins. Its cut optimizes comfort and prevents chafing, especially at points of great mobility such as armpits and shoulders

Setting

Neoprene in different thicknesses (2-3-4 mm) to optimize the requirements of each area of ??the body: buoyancy in the front of the legs and chest to help the swimmer achieve buoyancy and perfect trim when swimming on the surface (4 mm), improve fit and mobility in the trunk, arms and armpits, guaranteeing total freedom of movement (2 mm) and improved buoyancy and thermal protection on the back and inside of the legs (3 mm)

Neoprene

• Medium-density neoprene with an open cell smooth outer finish and a water-repellent treatment that guarantees an exceptional level of hydrodynamics and good resistance to tears
• Inner lining is Ultraspan©, extremely elastic and soft to prevent chafing but resistant
• This combination guarantees resistance and durability much higher than usual in swimming and triathlon suits

Making

• Assembly of the panels by waterproof gluing with an internal seam reinforced with heat-sealed reinforcement discs at the intersections of the seams
• Neck with a new low-cut design studied to avoid any friction around the neck, while maintaining a perfect seal against water infiltration. Finished with a 100% smooth open cell neoprene hem to optimize the comfort of the suit, avoiding chafing
• Lower area of ??the forearms with neoprene with an inverted scale finish that improves progress during swimming
• YKK zipper with metallic slider with anti-corrosion treatment, guarantees greater robustness during the closing/opening of the wetsuit
• Oversized flap to minimize water infiltration in the low back area
• Aesthetic design with high visibility red color for safety when swimming in the open sea
• On the inside of the lower panel of the zipper it is possible to personalize the wetsuit with your name and to store the key of any means of transport in a small pocket
