HEED 3, manufactured by Submersible Systems, is a compact, lightweight and reliable Category A self-contained breathing apparatus.  HEED 3 is designed to increase the survivability of military and commercial personnel in the event of unintentional submersion in water.  Born out of the need to provide U.S. Navy helicopter pilots with a small, portable breathing device, the Heed 3 has been saving lives since 1979.  Ideal for all helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, seaplanes, jet skis and vehicles operating around potential water emergencies.  

Based on the popular Spare Air® used in diving, the HEED 3 uses the same 3rd generation patented regulator as the Spare Air, the world's best-selling dive safety device.

HEED 3 has the smallest size of any EBS on the market, is lightweight and easy to use.
