Description:

The Tungsten XTX is built on the XTX200 platform but with a truly unique added feature: it is protected with a hard, durable Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) finish. This "tough as nails" finish is better than traditional chrome plating. The coating is made from high quality grades of Titanium, Zirconium and Chrome. The result not only looks extremely attractive, but protects your investment from the normal abuse of diving. It features a swivel hose.

Features: 

• The innovative DCE system allows the diver to modulate the size of the whiskers, short or long, allowing the bubbles to return to the back for improved field of view. Both versions are included with the regulator.
• 5th MP port for improved hose routing, included as standard. Also includes an additional benefit of integrated heat exchangers (XTX200 and XTX100 1st stage only).
• The 2nd stage is reversible to Left and Right. In addition, it can be mounted on both sides of the 1st stage. Operation is simple and quick but must be performed by an authorized Apeks technician.
• Available in DIN 
• Braided hoses are standard on all regulators. They are lighter, more flexible and stronger. Suitable for cold water diving.
• Compatible with EAN40 at the factory (outside CE only).

First Stage

• Unique overbalanced diaphragm design - as you descend, the overbalance allows medium pressure gas to enter the hose to rise faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
• 2 HP and 4 MP ports angled for optimal hose routing.
• 5th MP port incorporated into the design with an additional heat exchanger.
• Environmental sealing system that keeps water out of the mainspring chamber and prevents ice formation and the entry of sediment and contamination.

Second Stage

• This 2nd stage facilitates breathing due to its pneumatic compensation.
• The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate.
• The silicone regulator purge makes breathing easier.
• Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue.
• The heat exchanger (patented) surrounding the valve eliminates cold caused by gas expansion and brings warmth from the surrounding water.
