It will be hard to beat Cressi's new Evo, an exercise in design to the limit that improves the already optimal all-around visibility of the Matrix and reduces weight and interior volume to parameters typical of much smaller masks (160 g and 115 cm3).

The exceptionally reduced frame structure allows a close approach to the lenses without frame contact problems. The internal volume is therefore reduced to the absolute minimum and any view of the frame from the inside is eliminated. The 15° inclined lenses extended above the cheekbones ("Big Eyes" system) increase lower visibility by more than 30% compared to that of a traditional mask, while upper and side visibility are increased to the limit allowed by the thickness of the frame: total vision - 3% in upper visibility and total vision -5% in side visibility.

The structural rigidity of the central bridge has been particularly studied to avoid the loss of the lens plane due to an excessive tension of the strap that could cause optical distortions.

The outer lip of the facepiece in contact with the face and the area covering the nose have a decreasing thickness that improves the fit and maintains comfort during long hours of use.

Also noteworthy are the buckles, fully pivoting in all directions and attached to the frame by means of a flexible and unbreakable elastomer. The tension of the strap acts directly on the frame, maintaining the stability of the mask and bringing the glass as close as possible to the eyes.
