Its design and low weight help reduce jaw fatigue on long dives. The XL4+ is also an ideal stage regulator, perfect for the exploration diver with a large amount of equipment.

Although the XTX40 is a mid-range Apeks regulator, it is still classed as a high performance regulator in independent reviews. The XTX40 comes with all the features of our highly successful XTX50 with the exception of diver adjustable breathing resistance control.

The XTX40 Octopus provides the same features and performance as the XTX40 second stage and includes left / right hand reversibility. It comes with a high visibility yellow front cover and a 36” yellow hose. Suitable for cold water use (below 10 C / 50 F).

Apeks Nitrox regulators are suitable for use with up to 100% O2 and are color coded for easy identification. The regulators have been specially cleaned and assembled in our "J" class (10,000) clean room using safe components and lubricants.
