GARA PROFESIONAL LD FIN
Description:
Identical construction to the Gara Professional, but with a blade made of polypropylene instead of Compoflex©, a softer material (common in the Gara 2000 and Gara 3000) which together with the reduced thicknesses of this fin makes it an ideal model for prolonged use and for use in cold water. The Professional LD ("Long Distance") is distinguished from its HF sister by the light gray blade and a 20% more flexible composition, ideal for medium and medium-high level fishing and freediving. It also performs better in surface swimming and gliding on the bottom and has a lower muscular wear. Its finning is fast, agile, very reactive and comfortable.
Its advanced design aims to obtain the maximum performance from the materials used: polypropylene and thermoplastic rubber of two different hardnesses.
Cressi maintains its philosophy of fins assembled in one piece. The transmission of effort when there is a molecular fusion of the materials is radically superior to that produced in the classic interchangeable configuration.
Also in this model Cressi uses for the first time its exclusive "under-blade foot pocket" construction in a freediving fin, so that the effort and performance of both "negative" and positive finning is balanced and the upper part of the blade on the back of the foot pocket is equally effective.
The blade with a decreasing thickness profile (from 4 mm to 2 mm) makes the arching very progressive and eliminates the tendency to skid, since the first half of the assembly is more rigid and the final half is very flexible.
Each size has a blade proportionate to its size, thus maintaining an identical level of stiffness and surface regardless of the user's wingspan. Separate units can be purchased separately in case of loss or breakage.
